Can mileage be claimed for motorcycles or scooters?

Yes. France publishes separate scales for motorcycles and mopeds. Select the scale for the vehicle category and use its annual business mileage. Do not apply the car scale to a scooter.

Can mileage be claimed for bicycles?

Bicycles do not use France’s car or motorcycle tax scales. The sustainable mobility allowance can cover eligible cycle commuting when offered by the employer. For a business assignment, establish an arrangement appropriate to cycling rather than applying a car rate.
